Light Painting!!!!

Check out my first two official light paintings. I just took them like 20 min. ago and now I'm posting them up here. New Print Design Coming Soon!

Check out this new design I just finished! I'm really excited to start getting my hands dirty with this project. It's going to be a 7 color print which will make it a challenge for me but I can say I feel confident and ready to finish them up soon! This will be a limited edition print and I will only be making 25 of them. I plan on having a show sometime in June. So far my good friend Bobbi Koller (http://www.audienceaudience.com/) is on board but we're still trying to find a good venue for it.

KING TUBBeanies!

So I've recently been designing beanies with my KING TUBB logo on them. I try to emulate a similar feel to the clothes that I grew up wearing:  NIKE, Le TIGRE, LACOSTE, Polo, Penguin..... I'm planning to get a sewing machine in the near future and take a couple classes on sewing. I would love to be making my own clothes and putting my own logo on it. For the moment I will be using other companies clothing garments like American Apparel.... I plan to have TUBB Beanies AND TUBB Tee's with a similar look and feel @ my next art show which is coming up soon. Here are some pic's of the first couple beanies I've got so far.

Wheat Paste @ Visual Art Supply

I'm excited to say that on January 10, 2011 I officially did my first legal wheat paste in my hometown of San Diego. You can check it out if you are ever around Adams ave. & 35th st.

 The owner of the shop, Jason Gould, is one of the nicest guys I have recently met. I highly recommend you to stop by his shop when you get a chance. He has a wide variety of art supplies, including spray paint and other urban art materials. He also has rotating displays of local artists on his walls at all times with monthly events!
